Have you taken a look inside the factory air silebcer that is mounted to your fender? If not, do it. How is your engine supposed to breathe with that large of a restriction?
Realizing this, we used to take the time to remove the factory airbox, cut out the inner silencer, and then re-install the airbox. You can still do this if you want but now with this tube why bother?
This cold air tube is yet another product we highly recommend for it's cheap cost and effectiveness.
