How is all this flow possible with such a cheap price ? Simple. Canfield realized that cylinder head porting is very expensive and greatly increases the cost of a high flow cylinder head, so they set out to create a cylinder head that flows "out of the box" as well as (or better than in most cases) a fully ported cylinder head. They hired HVH - a leader in BBC cylinder head porting - to design a high flowing 305-310cc intake port that could be cast into a cylinder head.
So, for the cost of a "out of the box head" you can have the airflow of a fully ported cylinder head! |
